In Puppy Love

I want a puppy dog soooo bad!!! Her jewels would be Sniffany & Co. and her necklace by Lilly Pulitzer. She would not dare go outside without her Chewy Vuitton or Lilly Pulitzer lead. Occassionally, she would sport her Polo. To stay warm on these chilly Fall nights, her ToMUTTo Soup toy would warm her up. Ale and I are about to forget which zip code we live in since we have been traveling sooo much; of course we would take our fur-baby!!! So she would need a Pet Passport for all our fun travels. She would have the purrrfect life and we would take the best care of her. Do you have a fur-baby in your life??? My besties and our significant others stayed in cozy cabins close to Clemson, South Carolina.

Primitive conditions make me really appreciate the comforts of home.

Touchdowns and Tailgates

Ale, loads of our college chums, and I had the best time cheering on our Clemson Tigers!!!

It really is the most exciting 25 seconds in college football.

The best part, we beat Georgia Tech. Gooo Tigers!!!

I am sooo blessed to have such amazing college besties. We live allll over the place, yet we still make it back every year for the same game. I miss them oodles and I cannot wait for next year. Xoxo-BLC

Tiger Town

Many moons ago, we all met while attending Clemson University.

As such, we jetsetted far and wide to reunite on our old stomping grounds.

Returning to Clemson, South Carolina is like to returning home.

Cancer Sucks

It has been almost a month since my stepdad was diagnosed with cancer. While his cancer is not stationary, his oncologist has new treatment plan that we are very excited about. I cannot talk about any of this without getting choked up. For as long as I can remember, he has been a part of my life and he loves me unconditionally. I love him too!!!

I am so blessed to have an amazing family. A big thanks to my oldest sister for starting the CaringBridge website and keeping us all updated (and for explaining all the tough medical-lingo). So join me and pray for him. Pray for my mom. Pray for my entire family. Pray for comfort and pray for healing. We truly appreciate and can feel your love, support, and prayers!!! Xoxo-BLC

I am charmed!!!

I am sooo charmed by these lovely charm necklaces!!! Both are must-haves this season and perfect worn together or separately. I think key necklaces are timelessly chic. Don't you??? Well, as I mentioned, Lilly Pulitzer's 2010 Resort line plays up the lock and key in array of colorful fabrics. I am on the hunt for the perfect long key necklace. Also, I am swooning over Maya Brenner's state necklaces. Of course the North Carolina charm necklace is my favorite. Which state necklace do you prefer??? Cheers to living life charmed!!! Xoxo-BLC

Aisle Always Love You

This time last year, I had wedding fever. This year, I have it again: my sissy-in-law is getting hitched!!! I had the privilege of tagging along for her first dress fitting at Bridals by Lori. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her wedding gown!!! Seeing her in it took my breath away and I can hardly wait for her big day.

In the highly-unlikely-case that my future-brother-in-law is reading TCSK, the beautiful dress pictured isn't hers. Also, I still maintain that Ale and I were running late due to traffic ... not because I had to be camera ready just in case TLC was filming Say Yes to the Dress!!! Cheers to happily ever after!!! Cocktails for a Cure!? Count me in!!! I had the pleasure of visiting The Pink Pelican in Huntsville, Alabama this summer while in town for a friends wedding. Well, I wish I could teleport back there because today TPP is hosting a shopping event that supports their local breast cancer fund. What a great cause!?? Well Played

Earlier this summer, Ale and I took an unplanned trip to Atlanta with Clemson chums to see the Atlanta Braves play the San Francisco Giants.

Well ... we did it again!!!

 Yesterday, six of our sweet friends dropped everything and took a spontaneous trip.

 We had the best time cheering on the Braves ... tomahawks and all!!!

Of course we were super bummed the Braves lost. This was Bobby Cox's last game ... and it was so much fun to see a little bit of baseball history. Better luck next season Braves!!! Xoxo-BLC

Pink Pumpkins

Many thanks to my sweet college chum for letting me steal this photog. She is such a talented artist and has displayed these pumpkins outside her darling Lilly Pulitzer Via Shop. Her shop, Pink Boulevard, is nestled outside of Charleston on Johns Island (in-between Seabrook and Kiawah). Pink Boulevard is one of my favorites and is a must see for all South Carolina dwellers or vacationers. Well, these pink  pumpkins put mine to shame ... how do your pumpkins fair???
