Saturday Happies

 We live for Saturdays right now. All day with Squeak is just the best. She is so much fun. She is officially on the move and into everything. I love that she scatters her toys everywhere. She LOVES to play. She loves other babies. She even is learning to SHARE: baby L is wearing her bow. Good job Squeak! We took these babies to our neighborhood festival and it was loads of fun. Squeak is NINE months!!!

Squeak is NINE months old!!! Time is flyyyyying by and I hate to sleep or blink. I just don't want to miss a minute of her. She looooves to clap, wave, be silly, and can say: mama, dada, and baba. We love her the MOST!!! Xoxo-BLC  #thesqueakmonthly

The world lost a lovely lady today: Maya Angelou. I love so much about her. Her life work. Her purposefulness. Her gentleness. I could keep going. Memorial Day

Lake Days

Squeak's first trip to the lake!!! It's a success, minus the boat ride (which had more to do with her lifevest than anything else). She is still princess of the lake with that sweet flower crown. She is so much fun and it is the most exciting watching her explore this world. We love her to the moon and back. Xoxo-BLC


When in Rome ...

We are at Happy and Gigi's house having a ball. Squeak stayed with her grandparents while we hit the town for a friend's 30th birthday party. Such a fun-filled day. Xoxo-BLC

ATL + Cousins + Baby Shower = ♥

I am helping a college bestie Apsy's baby shower in ATL and I couldn't miss the opportunity to see my sweet baby cousins. They are home for the summer and its rare to catch up with all these girls at once. It was sooo wonderful to squeeze them and chit chat over lunch. I jetted off to Apsy's baby shower sans baby Squeak and it was woooonderful to celebrate her. We are sooo excited for this sweet life she and her family will be welcoming soon. We cannot wait to meet her soooon!!! Xoxo-BLC


We love the ocean.

Squeak loooves the beach. We will keep her in this family - she clearly belongs!!! Our weather today started out beautiful and around lunchtime turned into a rain shower. I grabbed little Squeak and b-lined for the condo. Rain or shine, I would rather be at the beach than ... anywhere else. We had the best afternoon inside and this girl-only time is just what the doctor ordered. Squeak isn't the best sharer: she just wants what Baby K has (Exhibit A: her pacifier just tastes better). So, starting today, we are working on sharing. These sweet sisters are VERY good examples! We ordered in and had a greaaaaaat day enjoying the calm amongst the storm outside! Xoxo-BLC


Beach Babies

First day on the beach: DIVINE!!! Our sweet sweet friends, invited us on a girls-only trip and we couldn't miss such a fun-filled time with these girls - they are just the best. I looove E and Squeak loves her precious little girls (me too!). We hit the beach right away and moved to the pool when the babies napped. We had perfect weather. That night, we ate out on the bay. I was sooo proud of us: three babies and without husbands, eating out is impressive. We are so thankful for this time to stop, slow down, celebrate God's beautiful creation, and enjoy the best company!!! Xoxo-BLC
