Merci Beacoup

Eons ago, my sweet college roommate gifted me this book: On A Personal Note. From thank yous to congratulations to business appropriate wording, this book has been the most useful resource for handwritten notes. After the engagement hanger party and bridal shower, thank you notes were in order allll the way around --- from hosts to guests to gift-givers. I might have developed early onset arthritis from handwriting 82 thank you notes, but it was well worth it!!! I used all of my formal and fun stationary; is this an excuse to buy more!? I think so! A big cheers to snail mail! Xoxo-BLC

  2. ALEVE! I popped it non stop during all of my thank you notes! And GOOD FOR YOU for getting them done so fast, your mother taught you well. I just recieved a thank you note for a shower gift FROM MAY and it was in her mother's hand writing. So tacky.

  9. No kidding, I just wrote three thank you notes today. I love, love personal mail so much better than email. I especially like to keep cards of people who have passed because seeing their handwriting makes me feel connected.
