Mmm ... a day at the museum fed our fancy! Pictured is a ceiling fixture made of styrofoam cups that was absolutely breathtaking. My dad and stepmadre were such great sports gallivanting through two museums. Oh, and we ate our hearts out too on delish local cuisine. :) Do share, what is your most favorite museum? I am torn between the Smithsonian and Musee D'Orsay. Xoxo-BLC

Did you walk across the bridge the one time they had the bubble made out of plastic bottles floating in the reflection pond?
ReplyDeleteVery cool fixture! I love the Smithsonian. It is so interesting to me. I haven't been there in so long.
ReplyDeleteI love a good museum! One of my favorites is the Kimbell in Fort Worth Texas! It has an amazing permanent collection and is not so large that you become overwhelmed.
ReplyDeleteThe National Gallery in London is another must see.
How wonderful to have such a great time, good for you! Favorite museum? Hhhhmmm..... possibly Science & Industry (Chicago) or the Tate (London.)
ReplyDeleteSmiles at you for the week ahead,

D'Orsay most definitely!! Gorgeous! I need to go on a mini-vaycay! I'm thinking DC sometime soon!
ReplyDeleteI officially want a styrofoam cup ceiling now. So neat!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! I can't imagine seeing it in person.
ReplyDeleteThe Museum of Natural History. And, whichever museum is showing the Cy Twombley retrospective which currently is the Tate.
ReplyDeleteI love that cup sculpture! It must have been huge!
