Preps at Play

Did you catch Bravo's NYC Prep? If not, think: Reality TV meets Gossip Girl. Well, the recent episode features the prepsters playing at Lilly Pulitzer. Where else would such preps play!? Tee hee. Xoxo-BLC

  1. I watched the first episode, but I couldn't handle it any more after that. I am sorry that I missed them shopping for Lilly though, because that I would have liked!

  4. I love Lilly! But I have to admit that I cannot stand that show...I TiVoed it for the season and lately I find myself deleting it after only a couple of minutes. Those girls (and the boys!) are just nauseating. Uh. I can't wait for GG to return though - now that is fun - but it's also not REAL. (well, maybe it is considering these girls are acting like it - but I somehow feel better that they are "acting" in GG).

  7. It was too much of a train wreck for me to watch. I got about 3 episodes in. I miss Chuck Bass.

  9. I tried watching a few episodes but got so irritated. Those kids are not preps, just pretentious. I missed the Lilly episode. At least that would have been cute to see! :)

  13. Despite the total social backlash, this show is my guilty pleasure...mostly because it's a joke. The places they go to in NYC are ones that are "perceived" as cool but not actually interesting. But it's kind of fun to step back into the high school psyche and see what used to be important as a 17 year old versus what's important to me now as a 24 year old.
