We are beyond thrilled to welcome Stewart into our little family!!! We just love him to pieces.
He lives for belly rubs, toys, squirrel hunting, and loooong walks. He has completely stolen our hearts.
We adopted him from ESRA, the English Springer Spaniel Rescue. We adore springers and knew this breed was perfect for us. When ESRA first picked him up, he was too skinny, flithy, collarless (chipless too), and suffering from heartworms. We are happy to report all of above are fixed (although heartworms will take a few months to clear up). We are having so much fun with him and thrilled to call him our own. Xoxo-BLC
PS: Happy President's Day!!! I asked Stewart if he had a favorite president and he said "Woofrow Wilson." :)
PSS: A few of you asked where I purchased Stewart's dog bed and shark blanket. Both are from Etsy:

ReplyDeleteSO happy for y'all! I loved meeting him! XOXO
ReplyDeleteI second Buckhead Belle! Warms my heart that you got a rescue. One of our dogs is a rescue and they make the best buddies!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We always had springer spaniels growing up and they are just the sweetest things.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your darling new fur baby boy! He is absolutely precious! I love his name as I had an uncle named Stewart! He is one lucky little man!
ReplyDeleteLove and Hugs,

Aww, hi precious Stewart! You are going to make your mommy & daddy so very content. Drake says hi! (He loves spaniels, he has cousins that are spaniels.)
ReplyDeleteawwww congrats! He is so cute!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Stewart!
ReplyDeleteHe is so precious! I grew up with a Springer, and although we would love one now our house and yard aren't conducive so we got a smaller spaniel - Cavalier King Charles! Spaniels are the best breed type, in my honest opinion. :)
Have fun with him - he looks like a sweetheart!
OMG! Stewart is precious! I'm so excited for y'all and your first fur baby. He and lily would be bffs.
ReplyDeleteBIg points scored in heaven for a rescue. BIG :)
ReplyDeleteI love your rescue. He is so adorable. My Grandpapa had a springer spaniel but, well, I won't finish that story. So I have always wanted one but have tried to not put our family through it. Maybe when we have a second dog later on we will consider a doggie like Stewart. Our cocker spaniel Lily certainly loves all dogs!
ReplyDeleteOh my word I am so excited for you. Stewart is such a cutie! xo
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for including my (or Stewart's, now!) dog bed in your blog. He looks very content in his new forever home.
