Yummy! I made the hubs stand in line with me at Laduree in Paris on our honeymoon to get some of those fabulous macarons! Definitely worth the wait. I do love chocolate though, truffles!
ReplyDeleteI also love macaroons - for the same reasons as you! My favorite French treat though has to be a fresh, flaky croissant. Even though it's not sweet (unless you have one that's chocolate-filled!), it's just so flaky and yummy! The frozen ones sold by Williams-Sonoma are almost as good as ones in France - they're our treat for Christmas breakfast every year!
