MyBOOK

Mark Zuckerberg, the inventor of Facebook, still owes me years of my life back. I'll be the first to admit it sucked my time away in college like it was going out of style. I believe I am now un-facehooked. With that said ... I am tempted by a fruit of another. Twitter, MySpace, and LinkedIN to be exact. Do I need it or should I cut my losses while I am ahead? Help a girl decide! Xoxo-BLC

  1. I personally think you can do without twitter. I got it to see what the fuss is about and still don't get it. I update my status once in a blue moon and am thinking of getting rid of my account. Don't have linkedin so I don't know much about that. I can't even tell you the last time I logged into my myspace account. Actually, now that I think about it, I'm going to cancel that one as well.

  2. I just canceled myspace - I don't recommend it. Facebook improved on everything myspace started and most people on myspace are on facebook - and they serve the same function. I don't get Twitter, either. LinkedIn is nice professionally, I suppose, but it doesn't make much sense either. I have no idea when someone would look at LinkedIn, job-wise, as it has all of the same info as my resume!

    Congratulations on un-facehooking!

  3. I deactivated my myspace. It was invaded by younger kids and I really only like that you can download music. I think facebook is much better. I don't use twitter so i can't help you there!

  4. Haha, I hear you on the college time waster. I don't ever use MySpace anymore because it is slower than facebook and I don't like all the weird messages and general "scummy-ness" it seems to have. I haven't gotten a twitter yet but all my friends are trying to convice me. I just don't think I have enough to say about myself to tweet.

  5. I love LinkedIn.

Facebook has turned into Twitter within the past few weeks and myspace has turned rather lame.

  7. I'm on Twitter, but rarely update it. I can't imaging being on there everyday and changing my status all the time.

I discovered FB this year and I do love it, but I am a bigger fan of reading blogs and blogging.

  10. Facebook takes up SOO much of my time. I think it's better than MySpace (I had a MySpace before a FB). And now FB is trying to cut Twitter out of the competition by adapting to include Twitter features. I'm very impressed that you've become unhooked from Facebook!

  11. I think Myspace is lame! I love FB and I love Twitter. Probably shouldn't ask me...I never go to bed at a decent time no thanks to these distractions! :) Thanks for stopping by my blog!

  12. It really depends on what you want from them. For fun with friends stick to FB and avoid MySpace. For expanding a professional network Linkedin is the way to go. Twitter could be fun. It's up and coming.
