  3. I am loving this print from Lilly!
My favourite green tips are: donating my old clothes to a women's shelter; I always bring my lilly reuable grocery tote to the store, and I love to carpool with girlfriends when going out. We always have a great time and arent driving so many cars!

  6. Love the bag! We use re-usable bags for shopping and only use plastic bowls and boxes for lunches...no ziplock baggies. We also try to go to eco-resorts from time to time as we travel.

  7. That bag is fabulous! I love it. We recycle in our house and always give our clothes that are in great shape, that we've outgrown to someone else who could use them. We use reusable bags for shopping. www.prettynpinkngreen.blogspot.com

  8. Love the bag! I have one in another print, but as the holidays approach would love to have one to give to a friend!!!
Agreed, so many easy ways to recycle….
I save all of our jars from prepared food — rinse them out, strip the labels.
They come in so handy when the kids want to paint, store pens and markers, when I want to store leftover soup or deliver a “jar of soup” to a sick friend or elderly neighbor.

  9. What a great giveaway!!! We try to teach our kids to be green around the house by turning off the lights and television when leaving a room, don't leave the faucet running while brushing your teeth, anything that can be recycled goes in the recycling bin, etc.

  10. I LOVE that bag! Perfect for taking to school and running errands! It would look great with my LP recycle mug!
To recycle, my sisters and I take our unwanted/out of style clothing and home items to the local Catholic Social Services! If we don't need it, someone else will!

  11. What a fabulous giveaway! Thank you so much for hosting. Love love LOVE this bag!!

I started composting two years ago and I am forever amazed at how much food waste used to go into my trash. I have a city yard and still find a tiny space to compost. Everything from banana peel to egg shells to dryer lint makes great rich soil to pot my t'maters in next summer.

  12. I'd love to win! Love your blog :)

My favorite way to help the environment is by using reusuable bags at the grocery store. They make things easier to carry, are cute, and are helping reduce waste!

  14. What a cute bag! Other then putting the recycling bin out weekly - something so easy is when returning to the grocery store dropping your old sacks in the bin for the bags to be recycled.
Also, with clothes - reselling the nicer items on ebay - plus you make a little money at the same time!

  39. I volunteer in an animal shelter and I collect old blankets and towels from friends and neighbors to use in our cages to keep the animals comfy and warm. I usually get so many that I donate the rest to our county shelter, which needs all the help they can get.

    Thanks!
