We traded our blue suede shoes for dancing shoes and oh la la did we have fun celebrating Len's birthday!!! We bunked at the historic Peabody Hotel where the famous ducks paraded from the elevator to the fountain. Talk about a Memphis must-see! Cheers to the birthday girl and her fantastic town! Xoxo-BLC

ReplyDeleteWe went to the Peabody last year and loved it! I love how they give you little stirrers with a duck on the top with all of your drinks at the bar!

ReplyDeleteAh... the Peabody, a block away from one of the best Barbecue joints in town. My husband swears by the Rendezvous. I haven't been yet but it's on the list. I would love to stay at the Peabody....

ReplyDeleteOn our way to Boston last month we had a stopover in Memphis (only for an hour and a half) and all the time we were there I kept humming that song "Walking In Memphis" (like your title post) to myself
