Wool cardigan ... check.
Not-machine-washable ... check.
Wardrobe staple ... check, check, check!!!
Remind me, why did I try to wash my favorite wool cardigan in the machine? Grrrr! I've hunted high (online) and low (in-stores) for a replacement. Have you spotted this cardigan!? Xoxo-BLC
Oh. Tragedy. Good luck in the hunt.
ReplyDeleteI did that once. My fav sweater shrunk to fit a 2-year old! never again...
ReplyDeleteOh no! I did that once with one of my fave banana republic sweaters :( Ann Taylor had cardigans with a similar print last year, but I haven't seen anything lately :(
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I haven't seen anything similar. n the bright side, you might be able to sew up the front, the neck and the arm holes, cutting off the arms of course, attach a coordinated ribbon for a handle and viola you have an original cute tote....
ReplyDeleteNooooooo. I've so done that before. What a bummer!
ReplyDeleteHate it when that happens.
ReplyDeleteooooh, I hate when that happens! Hope you find another one.
ReplyDeleteAh! That's the WORST!
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of funny, though, how small wool gets - it comes out kid sized! :)
Try ebay for a J.Crew one (last season I think...) or express. I am not a big fan of express but I did snag a cute leopard print cardi there last year!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen it in the store, but I feel your pain. I had an amazing pink wool sweater meet the same sort of end a few years ago. It was so small I gave it to my little sister. Who was maybe 6 at the time.
ReplyDeleteClay used to do that to my clothes... so I banned him from laundry.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep a look out for it!
I haven't seen one yet. Ann Taylor has leopard flats, heels, clutch, and scarf, but no cardigan that I've seen.
ReplyDeleteGarnet Hill might have one like it.
ReplyDeleteoh no! how awful!
ReplyDeleteThat is my biggest pet peeve--have to replace something that I loved. Animal print is lovely. xo
ReplyDeleteOh no! I did that to a favorite BR sweater once without realizing it. I haven't seen that one yet, but it sure is gorgeous!
ReplyDeletethat sucks! i'd check BR or j.crew those are my cardigan staple shopping places.
