It sounds truly amazing!

You were so blessed to not have to learn about evolution. I attended both Public and Christian school and I remember when this was taught at my publc school- all the kids would laugh about it - basically everyone thought it was a joke that any human being evolved from a Monkey- and I know many still do! I am a Christian and was glad that my parents instilled in me the true story of God's creation early in life - so that when this moment occured I was already grounded in my faith and beliefs.

God bless you for standing up for what you believe!Net - "It's a Wonderful Movie"https://www.blogger.com/profile/01680194388277190995noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406326551248610310.post-63858136537167389422012-02-09T09:32:59.282-06:002012-02-09T09:32:59.282-06:00What an interesting view that the anonymous reader...What an interesting view that the anonymous reader doesn't think you have a right to speak your beliefs on your own blog! Another one of those liberals who doesn't believe in freedom of speech unless it suits them. Keep up the good work. Also, we are bombarded with evolution, so no loss that you didn't hear about it in school. I went to a secular school (I am 47 years old) and when they taught evolution, some of us spoke up and told the creation story to everyone else! I am listed as anonymous, but my name is Rebecca. I am personally grateful to have learned both, the creation story in grade school and evolution in high school. While this is only my personal opinion, I believe myself to be a more rational and faithful person because of my understanding and respect for these two beliefs. I truly believe that there is room for the two to coexist in our world while remaining a person of faith. I only hope that people can come to be less polarizing in the arguments and more respectful of others' perspectives. Best of luck BLC and I will remain a loyal reader no matter what your opinions may be.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406326551248610310.post-47274966614450551742012-02-08T20:08:33.601-06:002012-02-08T20:08:33.601-06:00Thank you so much for sharing!! It shows your a person of worth. I'm a college student in the sciences and evolution is by now means "proven" like these other people say. In the words of my biology proffessor from the UK: "its plausible" not proven. The fact is that people with real scientific minds analyze evolution and recognize its strengths and weaknesses. People who say evolution is "proven" like to believe in it like a religion. There is nothing wrong with religion, but what is wrong is claiming that science has enough "evidence" to eliminate God.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406326551248610310.post-17134635783449925892012-02-08T18:13:41.459-06:002012-02-08T18:13:41.459-06:00I really enjoyed your blog until this post. I respect your beliefs but think that this is inappropriate for this type of blog, and because of this I have decided to no longer follow you.

I also echo the sentiments of the person who wrote above me. Evolution is scientific fact, and it breaks my heart that you never were taught that growing up -it is truly a failure of the U.S. education system.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-406326551248610310.post-22175736433024710232012-02-08T18:05:50.695-06:002012-02-08T18:05:50.695-06:00If the creation story is a religious opinion why s...If the creation story is a religious opinion why should all kids learn it instead of evolution which is practically truth?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
